I've always loved photography, but never knew how much until I took my first photography class in high school, (back in the days of film and developing those images in a dark room...tells you how old I am!!!) I then went on to become a yearbook photographer and have been hooked ever since!
After high school, I knew I wanted to do something with children. (It never occurred to me to become a photographer for some crazy reason!) I got my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and was a Kindergarten teacher for 6 years. After becoming pregnant with our first child, I quit teaching to stay at home. And when you have children, you tend to take A LOT of pictures, and my love for photography sprung up again! I wanted to be able to stay at home with my babies, but I needed to work, so I decided to start my own photography business.
When my kids went to school, I missed them so much, I taught yearbook & photography at their school for a few years. Now that they are older, I am a full time photographer and I LOVE my job, and not many people can say that!!!
My passion is natural light photography in the beautiful outdoors!!! I love meeting new people and caputuring those precious moments for them!
